If you are overweight, you should consider safe methods to reduce your weight. The methods that you can use include herbal medicines, exercises, colon cleansing, ayurvedic herbal methods and supplements.

Yoga for Weight LossYoga is a natural and peaceful method that you can use to control your body and mind. To get more mental peace, you should consider yoga as a spiritual science. This will help you a lot if your weight gain is as a result of stress. Most people tend to eat more food when they are under pressure.

Some of the yoga exercises that you can engage in to reduce weight are given below:

Yoga Asana or Posture

Postures have different types of movement that will help improve blood circulation in the body. These poses are performed in various positions that include sitting, standing, lying down (either in supine or prone position), balancing and when upside down. Some of the yoga postures which can help you reduce your weight include shoulder stand pose, cobra pose, twisted pose, locust pose, half plough pose, plough pose, symbol of yoga pose, camel pose and peacock pose.

Breathing exercises

In Yoga, breathing exercises are referred to as pranayama and also include some of the cleansing techniques that are practiced. The breathing exercises help to get rid of the excess carbon dioxide that is in the blood and also help to remove any waste that is in the body cells.
